My First Poem
My name is Maisie and I go to big school,
My best friend is Tiana who is really cool.
I watch Dr Who on TV,
Playing on my Gameboy is lots of fun for me.
I just love sausage and mash to eat,
And sometimes chocolate for a treat.
Purple is a colour I Like a lot,
My bike is the best present I ever got.
My favourite person is Sandy, who is a gem,
So this , my first poem, is just for them!

Space
Natural Neptune
Steel Saturn
Jogging Jupiter
Muscular Mars
Victorious Venus
Elastic Earth
Peaceful Pluto
Unwanted Uranus
Maroon Mercury

In space
I am in my rocket with all my friends.
5,4,3,2,1, blast off.
We all hear that on our walkie-talkies.
Goodbye we all say with tears in our eyes.
Shaking and shaking with all that power.
There’s Mars, Jupiter, Saturn.
I see the stars.
Floating in the ship so fun but scary.
It is a never- ending experience.

Spiders crawl over
The witch’s face
Skeletons creaking in the cupboard
Doors slam
Bats squeaking in trees
Cauldron bubbling
Exploding
Thunder crashing
Black cats on broomsticks
The spell is ready
Frog fly!!!
Keith P5 (Strathconon Primary)
In a dark, dark forest
There was a witch
A disgusting witch
She made a spell
To turn a wizard
Into a frog
Rory P2 (Strathconon Primary)
Six witches flying
On their broomsticks
White hair with spiders
Tongues yellow
Warty noses
Very scary
Bats knocking
Against the window
Wings black
Eyes shining
Alex P3 (Strathconon Primary)
Witches are rude
Witches make spells
Witches have long white hair
Witches have spiders on their noses
Witches live in caves
Witches fly on broomsticks
Megan P3 (Strathconon Pr)
There was a witch
Who lived in a castle on a hill
Spiders crept out of her grey hair
She is in her spell room
Looking in her rusty cauldron
A black cat scratching at the door
She puts dog’s hair,
Frogs legs and cats eyes into her cauldron
She was a very evil witch
Ben P7 (Strathconon Primary)
There was a young boy form Torquay
Who suddenly got stung by a bee,
He began to cry,
Got a stone in his eye,
And then ran away from Torquay.

There was an old man of Inchbae
Who always used to say,
I’m old and done,
And no longer fun,
So I’m moving away from Inchbae.
